Clear Line was established in 1997 and quickly became the leading curtain wall installer in the UK. In 2001 Clear Line extended installation services to the European market and beyond. To date Clear Line have installed over £100m of curtain wall with a current turnover of £10m per annum and employ around 200 curtain wall installers.

In 2002 Clear Line extended its services to cover the maintenance and repair of curtain wall installations. This extended service was a natural progression for Clear Line as it facilitated the utilisation of valuable skills gained from the installation business to develop innovative approaches to building maintenance.

Clear Line Aluminium was formed in 2006 as a result of customer demand to provide new build and complete refurbishment solutions for curtain wall packages. The first new build project was completed in 2006.

In 2007 Clear Line formulated Clear Line Cranes and Lifting in response to the requirement for innovative and cost effective solutions for advanced facade construction methods. The value and flexibility of specialist crane and lifting solutions quickly became evident in both new installations and maintenance work and has subsequently developed into diverse solutions outside of the construction industry.

Clear Line developed Peak Solutions to give back something to the local community and was formulated in 2000. Peak Solutions builds new houses in Sheffield, the home of Clear Line, employing local people and utilising local material wherever possible. Peak Solutions are currently building the second housing development, consisting of 13 houses on a former brown field site.
